Men

Men who experience domestic abuse often don’t seek help and support because of societal pressures and expectations around masculinity or because they do not see themselves reflected in the public conversation around domestic abuse.

Domestic abuse can happen to anyone and you are not alone in your experiences. In fact, we have been delivering domestic abuse support interventions to men for over 5 years and know that men can be affected by domestic abuse in ways similar to people of any other gender. We hope you feel comfortable to reach out to us if you would like someone to talk to or to hear more about the support that is available.
